Your Ball State Lifeline Address is an email address that can be used to reset the password for your Ball State Username. If you should ever forget the password to your Ball State Username you can use the Forgot Password page to send a recovery link to your Lifeline. It is important to keep this address up to date to avoid any possible delays in recovering your account. If you should ever forget your password and you do not have a valid Lifeline address registered then you will need to contact the Technology Helpdesk for further instructions.
Your Ball State Username is used to access most services at Ball State, including Blackboard, Office365, Banner, and other online resources. This username and password are valid while you are a current student or employee. Once you leave Ball State your username will be deactivated.
Your Ball State University account is governed by the Users’ Privileges and Responsibilities Policy and your usage of it implies assent to the information contained within it.
